‘Creative’ and ‘effective’ most overused biz buzzwords

‘Creative’ and ‘effective’ have topped the list of most popular business buzzwords.

However, experts say the words don’t mean much and won’t help you if you put them on your resume.

According to research culled from 135 million LinkedIn member profiles, US employees heard the word ‘creative’ the most.

Other words they said they heard endlessly included ‘innovative’, ‘track record’ and ‘dynamic’.

The words are basically meaningless and will do nothing to make you stand out among other job seekers, the New York Daily reported Nicole Williams, LinkedIn’s connection director as saying.
